Bada Haridas is joined by Jahnavi, Karnamrita, and friends to create a wonderful variety of vocals, backed by an eclectic array of instruments from keyboard and guitar, to dulcimer, dolak, and drums. At times the songs climb and fall, at others they are a peaceful, mesmerizing chant, but always they come directly from the soul.
This nice collection includes favorites like 'Krishna Prema Mayi Radha' by Srila Jiva Goswami, 'Param Vijayate' from Lord Chaitanya's Sikshastakam, and the title track 'Om purnam' from Sri Isopanishad.' Insert booklet has the lyrics as well as Bada Haridas's personal comments on why he chose each song.

About the Artist
Bada Haridas is a classically trained musician with a degree in music composition, who, for the past 30 years, has studied the devotional music of India. With Om Purnam he has composed an irresistibly sweet masterpiece of ancient chants with contemporary musical arrangements. A fantastic accompaniment to any yoga or personal meditation session. The sacred sounds and lyrics of these songs invoke the very heart of the Supreme Being.
