Kashmiri Embroidered Cream Silk Sherwani, Pale-Yellow & Peach, Marked
This knee-length kurta, with a Nehru collar, long sleeves, and a flowing drape, has a style that is sure to attract attention. A sherwani is a kurta for special occasions and can be worn as a stylish extra-long jacket.
The shimmering cream-colored fabric is stunningly embroidered with flowers in shades of pale yellow and soft peach. The leaves and stems of the vines are embroidered in varying shades of grass green.
The elaborate embroidery covers the front, back, and sleeves. The flowering vines enhance the raised neckline and button-closure front. Each of the six buttons is wrapped in peach-colored wool embroidery and has a loop closure for a traditional style.
The heavy weight allows the textured silk fabric to drape beautifully, adding to the dramatic style. This sherwani is fully lined to prevent snags on the embroidery and give it a comfortable fit.
Made of silk, embroidered with wool thread. Six-button front, fully lined. Dry clean only. One size. Very limited quantity. Handmade in India.
Note: The tailor's marks for embroidering this kurta are very noticeable against the white silk. Because of the nature of the silk fabric and the colorful embroidery these marks may be very difficult to remove.
