The border and headpiece are a stunning example in traditional jari work, intricate designs woven with metallic thread. A blossoming vine of exotic flowers creates a shimmering 4" border. Little silver flowers are scattered across the body of the sari, for a charming extra embellishment that adds to the luxurious look of this traditional wedding sari.
Heavily woven with metallic jari designs, the headpiece is the true luxury of this traditional wedding sari. Blossoming roses and exotic flowers shimmer in an intricate design against the vibrant red silk. The expertly woven jari designs and rich South Indian silk are sure to make this traditional wedding sari a treasured heirloom.
The matching silk choli is lightly decorated with a scattering of small silver florets. The sleeves of the choli beautifully mirror the sari's border. The choli is fully lined with cotton for both comfort and durability. It is a size medium, but designed so it is easily tailored up to a large or down to a small. A matching cotton fall has been sewn into the border to increase the life of the sari and improve the way it drapes.
This sari was hand-selected by our buyer in India. It is one of a kind. Made from 100% medium-weight silk, decorated with metallic jari. Dry clean only. Made in India.
